New Jersey is one of the few states where you genuinely have two options. You can bring the car to Ashburn — three and a half to four and a half hours depending on whether you are starting from Princeton or from Bergen County — or you can ask about approved mobile installation, which we do run across New Jersey for properties that qualify.

Two routes, and they cost different amounts
Driving to Ashburn costs you a day each way and nothing else. Mobile installation carries a travel fee — $750 for New Jersey, because we drive rather than fly — and it comes with property requirements that rule a lot of homes out. Most people who can make the drive should make the drive.

New Jersey is one of six markets we actually travel to. It needs a single-family detached home you own, with a private, fully enclosed garage and three to five feet clear on every side of the car.
The garage has to be at 70°F
Real constraint, and it kills more New Jersey winter projects than anything else. You do not need permanent heating — a temporary garage heater is fine — but the space has to actually be at temperature when we arrive, and we check rather than assume.
A New Jersey studio is in preparation
It is not open, we will not schedule against it, and we are not going to hold your project waiting for it. Today the answer is Ashburn or your own garage.
What we wrap
Cybertruck, Model 3 and Model Y. Those three are what we take, and doing the same three repeatedly is how you learn where each one fights a wrap before it happens on somebody’s car.
What we use
Three services: a color change in premium 3M™ or Avery Dennison® vinyl from $6,000, 3M™ Protection Wrap Film — paint protection film in color — from $10,000, and Avery Dennison® Conform Chrome from $15,000. Partial coverage and chrome delete are priced per project. No bargain vinyl, no mystery materials.
How long it takes
Most projects are completed in approximately 2–7 days, depending on project scope — the model, full versus partial coverage, removal of any existing wrap, custom graphics, and the film and finish selected. Your estimated completion time is confirmed with your quote and appointment.
If the drive doesn’t work
Raoul collects your Tesla personally, brings it to the studio, completes the installation and returns it — driven, with the odometer and condition photographed at your address before it moves and again when it comes back. The fee depends on distance and is confirmed in writing before you commit to anything.
If traveling to a studio does not work at all, our Travel Wrap program runs limited destination installation events in select markets. Dates are limited and subject to sufficient demand, project approval and facility availability.

Don’t want to bring your Tesla to the studio? In select circumstances we can bring the installation to you — available for qualifying locations, subject to site approval and scheduling.
Mobile installation is available only at a single-family detached house with a private garage that you own. The garage has to give us room to work and an environment the film can actually be installed in — that is not a preference, it is what decides whether the wrap holds.

Do you have a shop in New Jersey?
Not yet. A New Jersey studio is in preparation and the location is being finalized — it is not open and we will not book you into it. Today the options are our Ashburn, Virginia studio or approved mobile installation at a qualifying New Jersey property.
What does mobile installation cost in New Jersey?
The travel fee is $750 on top of the project. That is on the drive-to-you tier rather than the fly-to-you tier. It does not include the $3,500 removal fee if you have an existing vinyl wrap that needs taking off first.
Can you wrap in my apartment building’s garage?
No. The property requirement is a single-family detached home that you own, with a private, fully enclosed garage. Shared garages, condo decks, driveways and rented spaces do not qualify — it is a hard requirement, not a preference.
Is it better to drive to Ashburn?
Usually, yes — it is cheaper, the studio is set up for the work, and it removes every variable about your garage. Mobile exists for people who genuinely cannot make the trip.
