Tesla wraps

From $6,000

Final pricing determined after project review.

Every Tesla Wrapper project is different. Our wraps are custom, detail-intensive installations that take real material, preparation, installation, finishing and quality-control time.

From $6,000Color-change vinyl

A standard Tesla wrap in premium 3M™ or Avery Dennison® color-change vinyl.

From $10,0003M™ Protection Wrap Film

Paint protection film in color — protection and a color change from one film.

On a bare Cybertruck, 3M does not warrant PWF on stainless — we have done it and it can work, but it sits outside the manufacturer’s warranty. Ask us and we will walk you through it against color-change vinyl.

From $15,000Avery Dennison® Conform Chrome

A chrome vinyl. The most demanding film we install, and the least forgiving.

Because every vehicle and every idea is different, the final price is set after we review the vehicle, the finish or design you want, the material, the condition and the scope.

Why it costs what it costs, and what moves the final number

Why our wraps start there

A professional wrap is not a roll of vinyl and an afternoon. We are positioned around quality, customization and dedicated attention to one project at a time.

  • Vehicle preparation
  • Material selection
  • Creative planning
  • Design decisions
  • Material ordering
  • Precise film application
  • Complex contours
  • Heat management
  • Edge finishing
  • Seam management
  • Post-heating where appropriate
  • Quality inspection
  • Customer coordination
  • Project scheduling
  • Dedicated installation time

Every wrap is different.

What moves the final number:

  • The vehicle
  • Its condition
  • How much coverage
  • Film brand
  • Film product
  • Color
  • Finish
  • Specialty material
  • Design complexity
  • Custom graphics
  • Surface complexity
  • Installation difficulty
  • Edge and seam requirements
  • Additional preparation
  • Location
  • At-home installation
  • Project timing

Your idea. Our installation.

Some people want a straightforward color change. Others want something nobody else is driving. Creative work can mean extra design, planning, material, preparation and finishing — which is why the price comes after we have seen the project, not before.

One vehicle. One install. All our attention.

We are not trying to move cars through as fast as possible. Careful preparation, professional installation, finishing and inspection take the time they take.

Example: on a $6,000 project the $1,000 deposit is applied toward the total, leaving a $5,000 remaining balance due at drop-off. The deposit is not an extra charge.

We don’t sell vinyl by the roll.We sell the finished transformation.

Material, craftsmanship, creative execution, time, project management and quality control — that is what the price covers.

An installer laying purple satin film onto the rear quarter of a Tesla

One vehicle. One install.

Not a production line. Your car has the bay to itself until it’s finished — which is the only way the edges and jambs come out right.

The work

Cars that left us looking like this.

Every photograph is our own, shot in and around our own bay. No stock imagery, no renders. It spans the shop’s history, so there are older builds in here alongside the three models we take today — Cybertruck, Model 3 and Model Y.

Why Tesla Wrapper

Seven things you can actually check.

Not “we’re the best”. Every row is something you can verify on your own project.

Professional materials

3M™ and Avery Dennison™ automotive films, chosen per project.

Documented vehicle condition

Your vehicle is photographed and its condition recorded before any work starts — and you review that record.

Material lock

Once your deposit is paid and the material is ordered, the selection is locked. No silent substitutions.

Professional installation

Installers are required to have professional 3M and/or Avery Dennison automotive wrap experience.

Detailed finishing

Edges, seams, contours, corners, handles, mirrors and bumpers each get their own attention.

Quality control

The installation is inspected before the vehicle goes back to you. If it doesn’t pass, it doesn’t leave.

One vehicle at a time

Your car is a project, not a slot in a queue.

★★★★★
I had an overwhelmingly positive experience as a client of Tesla Wrapper. Raoul paid particular attention to my unique request for custom vinyl hood wrapping, and used a masterful artistic eye to make it happen! I’m very impressed with the customer service, pricing, and willingness to customize requests. He went above and beyond what I could’ve hoped for. I would recommend without hesitation for any luxury car owner, especially Tesla owners!

Met Raoul at a Supercharger and after a brief intro wanted to work with him to wrap my new Cybertruck. Really glad I did and happy with how everything turned out. I will do business again when it’s time and recommend giving him a chance to earn your business. He listens and delivers but best of all stands behind his work.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

How much does a Tesla Wrapper project cost?

Automotive wraps start at $6,000. Final pricing is determined after we review your vehicle, the material and design you want, the condition of the car and the scope of the project.

Is $6,000 the final price?

No. It is the starting price. Custom projects can be priced higher depending on scope, materials, design complexity and the condition of the vehicle. You get the actual figure in writing before anything is agreed.

How long does a vehicle wrap take?

Most projects are completed in approximately 2–7 days, depending on scope. Where yours lands depends on the vehicle, whether it is a full or partial wrap, whether existing film has to be removed first, the complexity of any custom graphics, and the finish you choose. We confirm your estimated completion window with your quote and appointment rather than promising a date before we have seen the project.

Can you wrap leased vehicles?

Wrapping is generally reversible, which is why it is popular on leases — the paint underneath is untouched. Check your own lease terms before booking, since conditions vary between lenders, and plan for removal before the car goes back.

Do you really specialize in Teslas?

Tesla only, and three of them: Cybertruck, Model 3 and Model Y. Narrowing to three is deliberate — repetition on the same shapes is what makes a wrap look right, and we would rather be the shop that has done yours a hundred times than one that has done everything once.

Are you open yet?

We install today at our Ashburn, Virginia studio, and our New Jersey studio is opening soon. Submit a request with your Tesla and the finish you want, and we will confirm the studio, the date and availability with you directly. Appointment only — there are no walk-ins.

Is a deposit required, and when?

A booking deposit holds your installation date, and it is applied toward your project total — it is not an additional fee. You can pay it up front to secure a slot, or wait until we have reviewed your project and quoted it. Either way, paying does not mean we have accepted the project: we still review every one, and if we decline yours the deposit is returned in full. If you simply change your mind, we retain 5%. Payment happens on Square, never on this website.

How do I get a quote?

Use the quote form on this site — the more detail you give about the vehicle, the coverage and the finish, the tighter the number comes back. You can also text us if you would rather talk it through.

Your deposit is applied to your project total — it is not an additional fee. The balance is due at vehicle drop-off, or you can pay it early.

Before you pay — deposit terms, cancellation, and how we handle your car

Put your model and color in the Square note.

This one is required. When you pay, type your Tesla model and the color you want into the note field on the Square page — for example “Model Y — 3M 2080-S12 Satin Black”.

Square doesn’t tell us what a payment is for. Without that note we have a deposit and no idea whose car it belongs to, which delays your booking while we work it out.

Changing your mind.

If you cancel a booking simply because you’ve changed your mind, we retain 5% of the deposit and return the rest. That covers the slot we held and turned other work away for.

  • $1,000 deposit$50 retained, $950 returned
  • $3,000 deposit$150 retained, $2,850 returned
  • $4,000 deposit$200 retained, $3,800 returned

That is only for a change of mind. If we review your project and decline it, you get the full deposit back — nothing retained.

If we review your project and can’t take it on, your deposit is returned in full. We’d rather turn a project away than do it badly, and you shouldn’t be out of pocket for that.

Your car, while it’s with us.

  • Gated propertyThe site is fenced and gated. Your vehicle is not sitting on an open forecourt.
  • Cameras insideThe installation area is camera-monitored — the same footage that protects you protects us.
  • Cameras outsideExterior coverage of the property and approach.
  • IndoorsThe work happens inside. Vehicles aren’t stored outside as part of normal operations.
  • Updates by textWe text you as the project moves — arrival, installation started, into finishing and quality control, ready for collection. You should never have to ask where your car is.

Cameras and a gate are security measures — they deter, and they record what happened. They are not an insurance policy. Ask us directly about coverage and we’ll answer you straight rather than let a fence imply it. More on how we handle your car →

Not ready to pay? Tell us about the project.

We review the vehicle and the project first, then come back to you with a quote and the dates we can actually hold. Nothing is charged when you submit this form.

Where we’ve been

Frederick, Maryland. 2024.

Before Ashburn, the shop ran out of Frederick, Maryland from January 2024 to January 2025.

We were wrapping Cybertrucks in the first months they were on the road.

Tesla started putting Cybertrucks in customers’ hands through 2024, and we were among the shops wrapping them from the start — learning those stainless flats and hard folds on real customer vehicles while most shops had never seen one in person.

People drove two hours to get there.

Customers took delivery of their Cybertrucks in Leesburg and Manassas, Virginia, and then drove more than two hours past every wrap shop in Northern Virginia and the DMV to drop them with us in Frederick.

That is the whole argument for this business in one sentence. Nobody drives two hours for a wrap they could get properly done nearby.

I am living almost 2 hours away from the shop. But i have i give them a try and i am 100% sure you all will happy with your car. People very nice and they always update with you make sure every step perfect. Highly recommend and support the shop, give them a call they will work together with you

Kim N.

Some of them we met at the Supercharger.

One Cybertruck owner we met while charging in Frederick had driven up from Northern Virginia. He booked the wrap on the strength of a conversation next to a charging stall, and came back when it was time.

That’s our account, not his — his review is below, in his own words.

You may know us by an older name.

This shop has traded under three names. It started as ModelWrapped, became SpaceShip Wraps, and is now Tesla Wrapper — same people, same hands, same bay. A few cars in the gallery still wear an old decal.

The name changed because the work narrowed. We wrap Teslas, almost exclusively, and a name that says so is more use to somebody searching than one that does not.

If you find reviews, photographs or listings under either earlier name, they are ours. We would rather tell you that than have you wonder.

4101 Harvard Place, Unit B, Frederick, MD 21703That location is closed. It’s here because it’s checkable, not because you can visit it.

Ashburn, Virginia is the studio now — private, appointment only, and the one every car goes to today. New Jersey is being prepared as a second location and is not open yet. The people who drove two hours to Frederick are the reason we think that model works.

Technology & founder

Built by an inventor.Wrapped by hand.

The founder holds four issued U.S. patents — three in vehicle surface treatment and service robotics, and one in a different field entirely. None of that touches your car: every wrap we install is done by hand, by a person, and the robotics work is a separate research track.

We say that plainly because the alternative is letting a patent number imply something about your install that isn’t true.

How it works

Six steps.

From first message to keys back. The install itself has its own seven stages — different thing, different page.

  1. 01Send your detailsYour Tesla, the finish you want, and when. Photos help.
  2. 02Project reviewWe look at the model, the coverage, and any film that has to come off first.
  3. 03Receive your quoteA price and a realistic completion window. Nothing moves until you are happy with both.
  4. 04Reserve your installA booking deposit holds your date and comes off your final balance.
  5. 05We wrap itOne vehicle in the bay, panel by panel, until it is finished.
  6. 06Final inspectionEdges, jambs, seams. We walk the car before it goes anywhere.

Most projects are completed in approximately 2–7 days, depending on project scope. Your estimated completion time is confirmed with your quote and appointment — we do not promise a date before reviewing the project.

What is vinyl wrapping?

Think of it like a giantsticky note for your car.

Vinyl wrapping uses a professional automotive film applied directly over your vehicle’s existing painted surfaces — a large, flexible sheet of premium colored adhesive film that conforms to the shape of the car.

  • No paint
  • No spray booth
  • No bodywork
  • No heavy machinery

Concierge & at-home

We can cometo you.

We can collect your Tesla, wrap it and bring it back — or, for qualifying properties, install in your own garage. Both are optional, both carry a fee, and both depend on location and approval.

An at-home install has real requirements: a fully enclosed garage held between 70–80°F, three to five feet of clear space on every side of the car, lighting and power. We check your specific space before approving it — we would rather reschedule than wrap into conditions that will cost you the result.
