Pay the $5,000 balancePut your Tesla and the color in the Square note. It is the only thing tying your deposit to your car and your film. Write “Cybercab” and the color you are thinking about — if you have not decided, write “Cybercab, color TBC” and we will pick it up when we text you.
$1,000 + $5,000 = $6,000. One number, split in two. The $1,000 deposit and the $5,000 balance are the same two payments as any color-change project — the deposit is part of the total, not on top of it.
- Sales tax is already inside the figure. Nothing is added at checkout.
- A travel fee applies if we come to you and you are outside our home area — $750 where we drive, $1,500 where we fly.
- Protection Wrap Film and Conform Chrome are different products at different prices, and on a Cybercab we would quote those against the actual car.
The deposit is refundable in full if we decline the project, and refundable less 5% if you change your mind before we order material. Once your film is ordered for your car it is not refundable, and you get the supplier order number by email the moment that happens.
How the reservation works.

Reserve
Pay the $1,000 deposit. It holds your place in the order we coordinate Cybercab projects and it comes straight off your total. It is not a date and it does not schedule anything — the same rule as every other project here.

Tell us about the car
Text us the configuration, the color you are thinking about, and where the car will be. We keep that against your deposit so that when the vehicle lands we are picking up a conversation rather than starting one.

We coordinate when it arrives
Once your Cybercab is with you and we have looked at the actual vehicle, we agree a window. If the car turns out to be a poor candidate for film, we say so and return your deposit in full — that is the existing service-acceptance policy and it applies here unchanged.

Install
The same process as every other car through this shop: pre-cut kit, panel by panel, post-heated where the film was stretched, inspected in daylight before it goes back to you.
Why reserve rather than wait.
Two practical reasons, and neither of them is scarcity theater. The first is sequencing: we work one car at a time, so the order projects arrive in is the order they get done, and a Cybercab that is already on the list is ahead of one that is not. The second is preparation — a new body shape means new pre-cut kit data, and the first few cars are where that gets worked out. We would rather do that on a car whose owner knew that in advance and chose us anyway.
What reserving does not buy you: a date, a discount, or a guarantee that we will take the project. It buys you a place and a conversation, and your money back if we cannot help.
Your Cybercab. Your color.
A Cybercab arrives in one factory finish. Film is how it stops looking like every other one. The same 253 colors we carry for every other Tesla apply here — gloss, satin, matte, color shift, and the specialty finishes — in 3M and Avery Dennison material.
Chrome is the exception worth naming: Conform Chrome is the least forgiving film there is and it shows whatever is underneath it. On a body shape none of us has worked yet, we would want to see the actual car before agreeing to it.
If your Cybercab is not near Ashburn.
Cybercab owners will be spread across the country, and so are we — we take Tesla owners in all fifty states. What changes with distance is not whether we will do the work, it is how your car and the installer end up in the same place. A handful of markets are established routes with a published travel fee. Everywhere else we quote the travel for your project, and the Ashburn studio is open to a car driven or shipped in from anywhere. Mobile at your own address also needs a qualifying property: a single-family detached home you own, with a private enclosed garage held in the film’s working range.
If you are somewhere we do not currently travel, say so when you reserve. Markets get added when enough people ask for the same one, and a Cybercab reservation is exactly the kind of signal that decides where we go next.
