Sending cars regularly? Then let’s talk properly.
Almost nobody needs this page. If you want to send us a friend, send us a friend — five fields or a link, and you are paid on the same published terms as everyone else.
This is for the few who introduce customers again and again: a club, a detailer, an independent service shop, a body shop, a dealership.
What a standing arrangement is for.
Volume changes the practical questions, not the rate. Who is the contact when a customer calls you instead of us. How cars get to Ashburn, and whether the driving is yours or ours. What we can say about your customers to you, and what we cannot. How a run of referrals gets paid without either of us reconstructing it from memory in April.
What it is not.
- Not a requirement — anyone can refer someone without it
- Not a different rate: $300 then $500 is what is published
- Not a franchise, a dealership agreement or a license to use the name
- Not a fee to join, in either direction
Anything beyond the published terms would have to be agreed in writing, with a person, for a specific arrangement. Nothing is pre-agreed here, which is why there are no numbers on this page other than the ones the whole program runs on.
They have to name you at first contact.
When the person you referred first gets in touch — the quote form has a “Referred by” field, or they can put your name in the Square note — that is when we can tie the project to you. Afterwards we have no way to prove it, and we are not going to pay on an unprovable claim.
One conversation.Text or email is fine.
Tell us who you are, roughly how many Teslas a month pass through your hands, and what you would want from us. There is no form, because there is nothing to apply for.
