Create WithTesla Wrapper.

A nationwide network of photographers, videographers and automotive content creators.

Tesla Wrapper is building a national network of photographers, videographers and automotive content creators to document wraps properly — before, during and after — for our website, our social channels and our project archive.

The work

What the network is for

Subject to whether the work exists, where it is, and who fits it — which is the honest framing, because this is not a queue you join and wait in.

None of this is guaranteed work. We are not offering employment, a contract, a minimum number of shoots, a rate, or an assurance that any particular project will exist. What we are offering is to look at your work properly and keep you in mind.

  • Documenting wraps from intake to handover
  • Before-and-after photography for the project archive
  • Short-form video for social channels
  • Studio and location vehicle photography
  • New-market and new-location launches
  • Aerial work where it is legal and it adds something
  • Time-lapse and process footage
  • Occasional event coverage
Why bother

Why this might be worth your time

A subject worth shooting

A car that looked one way this morning and looks completely different tonight. The before-and-after is built into the job.

A real brief

A shot list with reasons attached, matched before-and-after angles, and someone who knows what a raking-light finish shot is for.

Your rights, written down

What we may do with your work is recorded per asset — the license, the uses, the term and the credit. Nothing is assumed because we paid.

Credit where you want it

If you want to be credited, tell us how, and it travels with the file.

Process

How it works

  1. 01

    Apply

Where you are, what you shoot, what you shoot it with. A few minutes, and it commits you to nothing.

  2. 02

    Send your work

Links are ideal. Files are fine. This is the part that matters most.

  3. 03

    Review

Corporate looks at the work against what we actually need and where we need it.

  4. 04

    Conversation

Creators who look like a fit may be contacted. Being contacted is not an offer.

  5. 05

    A first project

If a suitable project exists, we may offer one. If one does not exist, we will not invent it.

  6. 06

    The roster

Creators we have worked with go on the roster so corporate can find you when something fits.

Passing one stage does not guarantee the next. Most applications do not lead to a project, and that is usually about geography and timing rather than a judgement on your work.

The brief

Before, during, after.

Every project carries a shot list with a reason attached to each frame, so you can make a judgement on the day rather than following a list written for different light. This is the standard one — projects add to it.

Before

  • Front three-quarter, whole vehicleThe before half of every before-and-after. Match the angle exactly in the after set.
  • Rear three-quarter, whole vehicleThe second matched angle. Rear quarters and the tailgate are where a wrap most often gives itself away.
  • Flat profile, both sidesShows panel condition without perspective distortion.
  • Existing paint defects, closeDocumentation, not marketing. Protects the customer and the shop equally.
  • Odometer and interior conditionCondition record at intake.
  • Badges, handles, trimThe parts that come off and go back on.

During

  • Surface preparation in progressThe step customers never see and the one that decides the result.
  • Disassembly — handles, badges, trimShows the work is done properly rather than around the parts.
  • Material being laid onto a panelThe single most watchable moment of the whole process.
  • Hands and squeegee, closeCraft. Short-form video lives on this frame.
  • Heat and conforming on a curveWhere skill is visible to someone who knows what they are looking at.
  • Edge tucking and finishingThe detail that separates a good wrap from a cheap one.
  • Time-lapse of one full panelOne asset that carries a whole social post on its own.
  • The team working, wideOnly with the consent of everyone recognizable in frame.

After

  • Front three-quarter, matched to the before frameThe pair only works if the angle matches. Check the before frame on set.
  • Rear three-quarter, matched to the before frameThe other half of the pair. Stand where the before frame was taken from, not where the light is nicer.
  • Flat profile, both sidesShows the finish across a full panel run.
  • Finish texture, raking lightThe only way a matte, satin or chrome finish reads in a photograph.
  • Edges, seams and door jambsProof of the work, and the frames a knowledgeable buyer looks for.
  • Badges and handles refittedCloses the loop on the disassembly frames.
  • Interior, clean and returnedThe car is handed back better than it arrived.
  • Vehicle on location, environmentalThe hero frame. Needs good light more than it needs a good location.
  • Rolling / tracking shotOnly with a second driver, a safe road and a plan. Never improvised.
  • Customer with the finished vehicleRequires written consent before the shutter, not after.

Shots marked with a rule are the required ones. The rest are upside.

Rights

About your work and who owns it

Paying for a shoot does not, by itself, make us the owner of what you shot, and we do not treat it as if it does. Rights are agreed per project and recorded per file: which license applies, which uses are approved, for how long, in which territory, and whether credit is required. If nothing has been agreed, our own system blocks publication rather than assuming permission.

The agreements themselves are prepared with legal counsel. Nothing on this page is a contract, an offer or legal advice.

Creator agreement

The overall relationship between Tesla Wrapper and a creator: scope, payment, conduct, term.

placeholder — not drafted

Content license or assignment

What Tesla Wrapper may do with the images and footage, for how long, and where.

placeholder — not drafted

Model release

Permission from an identifiable person for their likeness to be used.

placeholder — not drafted

Property release

Permission from the owner of a vehicle or location that appears in the work.

placeholder — not drafted

Customer media consent

The customer’s permission to photograph their vehicle and publish the result.

placeholder — not drafted

Drone operations acknowledgement

Certification, insurance and airspace responsibility for aerial work.

placeholder — not drafted

Confidentiality acknowledgement

Unreleased vehicles, unannounced locations and customer identities.

placeholder — not drafted

These are placeholders. No agreement text has been drafted here, and nothing in this system should be treated as legal advice or as a form ready to sign. Each one names what the document is for so that a lawyer can draft it and corporate can record which signed version governs which asset.

Privacy

Customers, people and plates

The vehicles belong to customers. Anyone recognizable in a frame needs written consent before you shoot them. Tesla Wrapper has decided that visible license plates are acceptable in its own published photography, and we record the decision per file either way so a customer who asks can be honored.

Our name

Using our name

Applying does not make you a Tesla Wrapper creator. Nobody may present themselves as a Tesla Wrapper employee, franchisee, agent or authorized representative, or use Tesla Wrapper branding on their own site or profiles, unless corporate has authorized it in writing. Tesla Wrapper is an independent wrap studio and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by Tesla, Inc. — and no creator may suggest otherwise.

Send us your work.

Links are ideal — a reel with its comments attached tells us more than a folder of files. Everything you send is stored privately and is not published anywhere.

Skills

"Never photographed a Tesla" is an ordinary answer. It is context, not a requirement.

We do not need serial numbers. We need to know what you can actually do on the day — light an interior, fly legally, record usable audio.

Your work

Up to 12 files, 15MB each and 60MB in total. JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or PDF. Samples are stored privately, are visible only to the Tesla Wrapper team, and are not published anywhere. Video is better sent as a link — a reel is more useful to us than a file.

Availability and travel
When you are generally available
Rate expectations optional

Your expectation, recorded as yours. We do not publish a rate and this is not an offer of one — asking now just saves us both a conversation that could not have ended well.

We receive a high volume of submissions and review them against current needs, location, and the work itself. We cannot respond to every applicant. Submitting an application does not guarantee a response, a conversation, a project, payment, employment or a place on the roster.
