Gloss only, in opaque and metallic colors. The tiles are Avery’s own photographs of the film; screens do not reproduce film, so we bring a physical sample before anything is ordered.

- Dry application only. Avery’s data sheet says: “Never use a wet application method to apply this film.” The IntelliTack™ adhesive is activated by squeegee pressure, not by water.
- Self-healing
- Light scratches self-heal in 20–30 minutes at room temperature, or faster with warm water (Instructional Bulletin 4.40).
- Impact
- Rock chip testing: SAE J400, pass.
- Chemical resistance
- 24-hour exposure to motor oil, windshield washer fluid, iron-oxide rust water, road tar and black spray paint: no significant change after wiping with 90% isopropyl alcohol.
- Gloss
- Hunter gloss at 60°: above 90 GU.
- Application temperature
- Minimum 60°F on complex curves; service range -40°F to 212°F.

Avery Dennison’s limited warranty runs 10 years on vertical surfaces and 8 on horizontal ones in Zone 1, which covers the United States unless Avery’s zone map says otherwise. It covers manufacturing defects — adhesive failure, bubbling, cracking, peeling, delamination and discoloration — for the original purchaser, professionally installed, with replacement film as the remedy.

What it does not cover
- Repainted or aftermarket-painted surfaces, and film over vinyl — the warranty is void there.
- Non-painted surfaces: headlights, chrome or carbon-fiber trim.
- Abrasion and loss of gloss.
- Soaps, waxes or coatings containing petroleum distillates or solvents.
Avery registers the warranty per installation; the installer files it and attaches the confirmation to your receipt. Our own workmanship warranty is separate and is on craftsmanship.
Model 3 and Model Y.Not the Cybertruck.
Not offered. Avery Dennison lists stainless steel as an unsuitable use for this film and does not warrant removability from it, so we do not put it on a Cybertruck.
Avery lists as unsuitable: stainless steel; low surface energy substrates; non-oem painted vehicles; paint that is not thoroughly cured.
Looking after it
- No washing for the first 72 hours.
- Hand wash with a pH-neutral soap; no automatic brush washes.
- No waxes, polishes or coatings with petroleum distillates or solvents — they void the warranty.
- Light scratches self-heal; warm water speeds it up.
