From any state.To your driveway.
Any state. Any city. One TeslaWrapper.
You do not have to come to us. We can come to you, and we will go the distance — California, Florida, Texas, New York, Alaska, anywhere in between. One team, one standard, one shop: the same people wrap the car in Ashburn and in your garage, because there is nobody else to send.
- You checkTell us the Tesla, the transformation you want and where the car lives. Two minutes, no long form.
- We approveWe review the project and the installation environment at that address, and we tell you which route is yours before you pay anything.
- You reserveA $1,000 booking deposit reserves the project. It comes off the total rather than sitting on top of it.
- We travelWe agree the dates with you, cut your film here, and drive or fly to the address with it.
- We transformTwo to three days of work, a final inspection walked with you, and the car is yours.
Willing to travel anywhere is not the same as every project being accepted or every address being workable. We review the vehicle, the project and the room before we agree to anything, we decline work we do not think will come out right, and we do not hold a date we have not agreed with you.
Two questions, and only one of them is about your state.
Any state. Any city. One TeslaWrapper. You do not have to come to us — we can come to you, and we will go the distance: California, Florida, Texas, New York, Alaska, anywhere in between. Geography is not the gate. What is reviewed is the project and the installation environment at the address, and that review happens before you pay anything.
Nationwide.
TeslaWrapper will travel anywhere in the United States for an approved project. There is no state we refuse on principle and no line on a map beyond which you stop being a customer. What your location changes is the travel — how we get there, how long we are away, and what that costs. It is a logistics question, and it has never been a refusal.
Must meet the requirements.
Installing film at your own address needs a specific room, and the requirements below are not preferences — they are what decides whether the wrap holds. Most of the housing in the country does not meet them. That is a fact about garages, not about states, and if yours does not qualify you are still a customer: the car gets wrapped at the studio instead.
"We cannot install at your address" is a sentence about a garage. It is never a sentence about your state — and you should never have to pay to find out which one you are hearing.
This answers the travel question, not the garage question. Enter a ZIP and it tells you how we would get to you. Whether we can work at your specific address is the review below, and both happen before you are asked for anything.
Qualification first. Deposit after.
The location review used to sit after the deposit. It does not any more, and the order below is the whole change: nobody is asked for money before we have told them whether their location works.
- 01Start from anywhere in the US
Any state, any city. Nothing about where you live ends this conversation.
- 02Choose your Tesla
Model 3, Model Y or Cybertruck. Tesla only — that is the whole shop.
- 03Choose the transformation
Color-change vinyl, Protection Wrap Film or Conform Chrome. The film changes the price and the deposit, so it is chosen before either is quoted.
- 04Give us the service location
The address where you want the work done, or tell us you are driving to Ashburn. This is where the travel gets worked out — not whether we will come.
- 05We verify the installation environmentQualification
Photos of the house, the driveway, the garage entrance and the garage interior, checked against the requirements. This is the step people were previously paying to skip.
- 06TeslaWrapper approves — or routes you to the studioQualification
We tell you which of the routes is actually yours, and if the address does not qualify we say so here, in writing, while your money is still your money.
- 07Then the $1,000 booking depositFirst payment
Not before. The deposit reserves an approved project and comes off the total; it is the first point at which anything is charged.
- 08Travel and dates agreed
We agree the dates with you directly and confirm the travel. Any applicable travel and mobilization costs are disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.
- 09Vehicle intake
The car is photographed and its condition recorded before anything is touched, at your address or at the studio.
- 10TeslaWrapper arrives
Our own team, with your film already cut for your car. Typically two to three days of work.
- 11Final inspection
Walked with you in daylight against the intake record — edges, seams, corners, handles, mirrors, bumpers.
- 12You drive it home
Handed back at your address, or driven out of Ashburn. Care instructions and your warranty documentation come with it.
What your garage has to be — before anyone pays.
This is the hard part of the model and it belongs here, above the money, in specific terms. Read it and rule yourself in or out. If it rules you out, the studio route is open from any state and we would rather tell you that now than take a deposit and hand it back.
What we need
- A single-family detached home you own
- A private, fully enclosed garage
- Adequate workspace — three to five feet clear on every side of the vehicle
- Garage held in the film’s working range — 3M specifies 60–90°F for Series 2080 and recommends 65–75°F for Protection Wrap Film — before we arrive and throughout the installation. In a cold climate that means heating it; in a hot one it means cooling it, and too hot disqualifies a panel exactly as too cold does
- Clean, dry conditions and adequate lighting
- Safe access to electricity for installation equipment
- Location approval — we review the property before agreeing to travel
Mobile installation is not available at:
- Condominiums / condos
- Townhouses and townhomes
- Apartments and apartment complexes
- Shared residential garages
- Public or parking garages
- Parking lots and street parking
- Commercial parking facilities
- Any property you do not own
That list is a hard requirement, not a preference, and there are no exceptions to it. It excludes a lot of American housing — apartments, condos, townhouses, anything rented, anything shared. Being on that list does not mean we cannot wrap your Tesla. It means the work happens at the studio.

Photos required for approval
- The front / exterior of the house
- The driveway and vehicle access
- The garage entrance
- The interior garage space
- Anything else that shows the available workspace
Who decides, and when
All at-home installations are subject to TeslaWrapper approval. Final approval is at our discretion based on workspace, temperature, access, cleanliness, safety and installation conditions. We may decline an at-home installation if any of these are unsuitable for a professional wrap installation.
We review the property before agreeing to travel, and that review happens before the deposit rather than after it.
Three routes. Two of them exist.
We travel to you
Our own team drives or flies to your address with your film already cut, and the work happens in your garage. This is the route the qualification decides: it is available anywhere in the United States, for an address that meets the requirements and a project we have approved.
Needs: A qualifying installation environment at your address, plus project approval.
You come to Ashburn
One studio, in Ashburn, Virginia, open to a car driven or shipped in from any state. It is usually the cheaper and simpler option, and it carries no travel cost at all. It is also the route that has no property requirement, which is why it is the answer for every apartment, condo and townhouse in the country. Taking delivery of a new Tesla in the DMV, having it wrapped and driving it home is one way people do this — one option among several rather than the default for anyone who lives out of state.
Needs: Getting the car here. Nothing about your own property is involved.
An approved TeslaWrapper operator near you
There are 0 approved TeslaWrapper operators today. Zero. Not one state, not one city, not one person. Every installation TeslaWrapper has ever done was done by our own team, at the studio or on travel, and until an installer has been evaluated in person and approved this route is a plan rather than an option. If anyone tells you they are an approved TeslaWrapper installer in your area, that is not true today, whoever is saying it.
Needs: Nothing yet — there is nobody to route you to.
Approved TeslaWrapper operators today: 0. The standard a partner will be held to, published before there is anybody to hold to it.
What it costs, and what travel adds.
Service starts at $7,000. The booking deposit is $1,000 and it is applied toward the service rather than added to it, leaving a $6,000 balance due before installation begins.
Starts at is the floor for a color-change vinyl wrap. Protection Wrap Film, Conform Chrome, a Cybertruck, removing an old wrap and travel all move the number, and each of them is quoted before you commit to anything.
Service price, plus travel where it applies.
Travel is a separate, disclosed line — never folded into the service price and never discovered afterwards. In six established markets the figure is published. Everywhere else it is calculated for your project, because a single flat number covering both Baltimore and Anchorage would be a number we made up.
- If we drive to you
- $750 on top of the service price
- If we fly
- $1,500 on top of the service price
Where those two figures apply. Those two figures apply to our established markets — the DMV, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, West Palm Beach and Los Angeles. They are not a national rate card, and several customers have read them as one. Inside our home area there is no travel cost at all.
Everywhere else. Any applicable travel and mobilization costs will be disclosed before final appointment confirmation. Travel requirements and any applicable travel charges will be confirmed before final service scheduling.
We do not publish a mileage rate, an airfare, a hotel charge or a per-state surcharge, because we do not have one. What we do is work out your project and tell you the figure in writing before anything is confirmed.
The deposit, and what happens to it.
The deposit comes after the location review and the approval, not before them. If your address does not qualify you will know that while your money is still your money.
If we decline your project after you have paid a deposit, your deposit is returned in full.
That is the existing acceptance policy rather than a new promise. We review the vehicle, the project and the room, and we decline work we do not think will come out right — failing paint, a garage that cannot hold the temperature, a job outside what we do. If we decline yours, you get the deposit back in full and we tell you why.
If you simply change your mind, the deposit is not returned — it is non-refundable from the moment it is paid, and it commits the project rather than holding a date. Once your film is ordered and cut for your car you can no longer cancel the project at all, and you get the supplier order number by email the moment that happens.
When Square asks, put your Tesla model and the color you want in the note — we cannot match a deposit to a car without it.
There is deliberately no payment button on this page. The deposit link comes with your approval, once we have looked at the location and told you which route is yours — which is the whole point of the order these steps are in.
After the deposit.
Location review is not on this list, and that is the change. It used to sit after the deposit — booking received, then location review, then the conversation nobody wants — so it now happens before you are asked for anything.
- Deposit receivedConfirmed by email, applied to your project total, and matched to your car by the note you put on the Square page.
- Appointment confirmationDates agreed with you directly. Travel is confirmed with them, along with any applicable travel and mobilization cost.
- Material ordered and cutYour film is bought and cut for your specific car here at the studio. Once it is ordered you can no longer cancel the project, and you get the supplier order number by email the moment it happens.
- Vehicle intakeCondition photographed and recorded before work starts. That record is what the handover is walked against.
- TeslaWrapper arrivesFor a travel project, our own team arrives at the agreed address in the agreed window. For a studio project, this is the day you drive in.
- Final inspectionThe same checklist the studio uses, in daylight, walked with you.
- DeliveryThe car is handed back where the work happened, with care instructions and warranty documentation.
Four states, four ways the model answers.
An example of how the model answers a location. Not a completed job, not a TeslaWrapper location, and not a claim that we have wrapped a car in this state.
Florida
Established market — published travel figureWest Palm Beach is one of the six markets we already run, so the travel figure is published rather than quoted. The environment question is the interesting one here: an unconditioned Florida garage sits above the film’s working range for much of the year, so the room has to be cooled rather than heated. Too hot disqualifies a panel exactly as too cold does.
Texas
No established market — travel calculated per projectTexas is not one of our six markets and there is no partner there, which changes the travel and nothing else. We will go, for an approved project at a qualifying address. What we will not do is print a number for Dallas that nobody has worked out — any applicable travel and mobilization cost is disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.
California
Established market — we fly for this oneLos Angeles is an established market with a published figure, and it is also the clearest case of the environment question being the real one. A great deal of Southern California housing is condos, apartments and shared garages, and for those the honest answer about at-home installation is no — followed immediately by the studio route, which has no property requirement at all.
Virginia
Home market — the one operating studioAshburn is the studio, and the only one. Cars have also been wrapped at the Frederick, Maryland shop we traded out of until January 2025, and in customers' own garages on mobile installs — both are in the project archive. Inside our home area there is no travel cost; elsewhere in the state it is the published drive-to-you figure. This is the only state on this page with a TeslaWrapper location in it, and the other three are on it to show how the model answers a location rather than to suggest otherwise.
TeslaWrapper serves customers nationwide. We travel to approved customer locations, and our studio in Ashburn, Virginia is open to a car driven or shipped in from any state.
Text us the Tesla, the transformation you want, your city, and photos of the house, the driveway and the garage. We will tell you which route is yours — and if the address does not qualify, we will tell you that too, before you have paid anything.
