Brand ambassadors

RepresentTesla Wrapper.

A small program built on trust rather than reach.

Tesla Wrapper is building a brand ambassador program for people whose audience actually listens to them. There is no follower minimum. We would rather work with someone whose two hundred readers own Teslas than someone whose fifty thousand scrolled past.

First things first

There is no follower requirement

We do not have a minimum and we are not going to invent one. What we look at is whether your audience is real, whether they engage, whether your work is made with care, and whether you sound like a person. A small audience that trusts you is the whole point.

Criteria

What we look at

Published in full, because you deserve to know what you are being read against before you spend an evening on this.

Real engagement

People reply, ask questions and come back. A small audience that talks to you is the signal.

Audience fit

Your audience overlaps with people who own a Tesla or are thinking about how theirs looks.

Content quality

Framing, light, editing, writing. Whatever the medium, it has been made with care.

Authenticity

You sound like a person, not a media kit. You have said when something was not good.

Professionalism

You reply, you meet dates you agreed to, and you disclose partnerships properly.

Consistency

You post at a rhythm you can hold. Twice a month for two years beats a burst and silence.

What we do not look at

  • A minimum follower count — we do not have one and are not going to invent one
  • Buying followers or engagement, which we would rather you had not done
  • Owning a Tesla, which helps but is not required
  • Being a professional creator
  • A media kit
The work

What being an ambassador can involve

Subject to whether a campaign exists, whether it fits you, and whether we agree on it — which is the honest framing, because none of this is automatic.

None of this is guaranteed. We are not offering income, commission, free work, a discount, customers, employment, a contract, or an assurance that any campaign will exist. Applying costs you a few minutes and commits neither of us to anything.

  • Talking about a wrap you have actually seen or had done
  • Documenting a process from your own point of view
  • Answering questions in communities you are already part of
  • Occasional campaigns, agreed one at a time
  • A referral identifier so we can tell when someone heard from you
  • Early sight of finishes and colors we are working with

A referral identifier lets us tell which ambassador someone heard from. It is a tracking identifier only. It is not a commission, a discount code, a payment arrangement or a promise of any kind, and any arrangement of that sort would be agreed separately and in writing.

Process

How it works

  1. 01

    Apply

Where you post, who reads it, and a couple of things you have made.

  2. 02

    We read it properly

A person looks at your actual content, not a follower number.

  3. 03

    A conversation

If it looks like a fit we may get in touch. Being contacted is not an offer.

  4. 04

    A first campaign

If something suitable exists, we agree it in writing — what it is, what is involved, and what has to be disclosed.

  5. 05

    You make it

Your voice, your judgement. We review before it goes out, and we do not write your opinion.

  6. 06

    It goes live

With the disclosure on it, in the place people will actually see it.

Most applications do not lead to a campaign, usually because of timing or geography rather than a judgement on your work.

Disclosure

Disclosure comes first

If you get anything from us — payment, a service, a discount, a product, covered travel, a referral identifier — your audience has to be told, clearly, on the post itself. We will remind you which connections apply before each campaign, and we check that the published post carried it.

What creates something to disclose

Paid for this content

Money changed hands. A reader assessing your opinion needs to know that.

Received a wrap or service at no cost

A wrap is a substantial thing to receive for free. Say so.

Received a wrap or service at a discount

A discount is still something of value received.

Received a product to keep

You kept something. That is a material connection.

Using a referral or affiliate identifier

You benefit, or may benefit, when someone uses your identifier.

Travel or expenses covered

Someone else paid for you to be there.

Received a prize or contest entry

A prize is a thing of value, and entry can be conditioned on posting.

Employed by, or related to someone at, Tesla Wrapper

A personal connection changes how a recommendation reads.

Has an ongoing relationship with Tesla Wrapper

A continuing arrangement matters even on a post with nothing attached to it.

Where it goes

  • Put it where it will be seen before the content, not after it and not below a "more" link.
  • Use plain language that a reader understands without clicking anything.
  • In video, say it out loud and put it on screen — captions get turned off and descriptions go unread.
  • In a live stream, repeat it. People arrive in the middle.
  • Put it in the same language as the content itself.
  • Repeat it on every post in a series. One disclosure does not cover the next post.
  • A platform’s built-in paid-partnership tool is useful, and on its own it may not be enough.
  • If you are unsure whether something needs disclosing, disclose it.

What this does not do. What we cannot do is tell you that our reminder is sufficient. Requirements differ between countries, states and platforms and they change, the obligation is yours as well as ours, and nothing we send you is legal advice.

  • This is a reminder system, not legal advice, and Tesla Wrapper is not your lawyer.
  • Disclosure requirements differ between countries, states and platforms, and they change.
  • No single disclosure satisfies every jurisdiction or every platform. Ours is not a safe harbor.
  • Each platform has its own rules in addition to the law, and following one does not satisfy the other.
  • The obligation is yours as well as ours. If you are advised differently, follow the advice.
Ground rules

What we will not ask you to do

  • Say something you do not think is true
  • Post a review of work you have not seen
  • Leave out the disclosure, or bury it where nobody looks
  • Present yourself as a Tesla Wrapper employee, franchisee, agent or authorized representative
  • Suggest any connection to Tesla, Inc. — there is not one, for us or for you
  • Delete a critical comment, or a critical opinion of your own
Our name

Using our name

Being an ambassador does not make you part of Tesla Wrapper. You may say you work with us on a campaign; you may not describe yourself as an employee, a franchisee, an agent or an authorized representative, and you may not use Tesla Wrapper branding as your own without written permission. Tesla Wrapper is an independent vehicle wrap studio and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by Tesla, Inc.

Apply

Tell us what you make.

A person reads every one of these. Everything you send is stored privately and is not published anywhere.

Audience size is optional and "prefer not to say" is a complete answer. There is no minimum, we do not rank applications by it, and a small audience that trusts you is the whole point of this program.

In your words

Up to 8 files, 15MB each and 40MB in total. Links to live posts are more useful than files — we would rather see something with its comments attached. Anything you upload is stored privately and is not published anywhere.

Disclosure comes with the territory. If a campaign ever happens, anything you get from us has to be disclosed on the post itself. We will tell you which connections apply before each one — and we cannot tell you that our reminder is sufficient for your jurisdiction or your platform.

We review applications against current needs and the work itself, and we cannot respond to everyone. Applying does not guarantee a response, a conversation, a campaign, payment, a discount, free work, employment or any opportunity.
