The Model 3 is the easiest car in the range to change dramatically, because so much of what your eye reads as its face is trim rather than paint.

Mid-install — everything but the bumper
Start with the chrome delete.
If you want the biggest visible change for the least money, it is not a full wrap — it is blacking out the chrome window surrounds and trim. On a Model 3 that single change alters the whole character of the car, and it costs a fraction of a color change.
Plenty of people do the chrome delete first, live with it, and come back for a full color change later. We would rather you did that than spent $6,000 on a color you have only seen on a screen.

The body is straightforward. What takes the time on a Model 3 is everything the body meets: the window surrounds, the door handles, the mirror caps, and the tight radius where the rear quarter turns into the bumper.

From $6,000 for a full color change. A chrome delete on its own is considerably less — text us the car and we will price it properly rather than publishing a number that will not hold for your trim level.

Is a chrome delete worth doing on its own?
On a Model 3, more than on any other Tesla. The chrome window surrounds are the single most recognizable thing about the car’s profile, and removing them visually is the change people notice without being able to say why.
Can I wrap a leased Model 3?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people wrap. The film goes over the paint, not into it, and comes back off at the end of the lease. We look at the paint first — original factory paint in good condition is the best case there is.
Does a wrap affect the sensors or cameras?
We do not wrap over camera lenses, sensors or radar apertures. Film goes on painted body panels; the hardware is masked and left alone.
How long is a Model 3 in the shop?
Usually toward the shorter end of the 2–7 day range for a color change, and considerably less for a chrome delete alone. Booking is typically 4–8 weeks out.
