Each film has its own deposit. $1,000 for color-change vinyl — the amount this button charges. 3M™ Protection Wrap Film is $3,000 and Avery Dennison® Conform Chrome is $4,000. Paradox Supreme Color PPF is $13,500 paid in full, with no deposit at all. If you have not settled on the film yet, start your wrap and choose it there rather than paying the wrong figure here.
Check the total before you tap Pay. Square offers a tip on these links and it arrives already selected. It is optional and it is not part of your project price. The amount you owe us is $1,000. Anything above that is the tip — clear it, change it, or leave it. Your project is identical either way.
We do not carry insurance on your car. There is no commercial garage-keepers policy covering damage to your Tesla while it is with us, and no policy number to give you, because there is no policy. What we do instead is document: the car is photographed and its condition recorded at intake, and we walk it with you against that record at handover. That deters and it evidences — it does not indemnify you. Your own insurance is the coverage that applies. The full terms.
The deposit is non-refundable. Paying it commits the project. We do not decline work over timing or difficulty — what we do instead is tell you the truth about your car first. Failing clearcoat, rust or an old wrap underneath change what the finish can look like, and we will show you what to expect on your car rather than after it. The decision is yours. If we do decline a project after you have paid, the deposit is returned in full. What we tell you before you pay.
That is the standard case: color-change vinyl, at the Ashburn studio, inside our home area, with no old film to remove. Travel, removal and the thicker films change the number — what moves the price.

12 months from the day you collect the vehicle on our workmanship, on the car we installed and for the person we installed it for. Premature edge lifting or an installation-related failure under normal use: text us a photograph and we work out the fix. What it covers, and what it does not.

The rear quarters are the job.
A Model Y looks like a simple shape until you try to lay film on the rear quarters. They curve in two directions at once, and film that is over-stretched to make that corner will pull back and lift months later. It is the panel that separates a wrap that holds from one that creeps.
Post-heating those panels is what sets the film so it stops trying to return to its old shape. It is the step people skip, and it is the reason our installation warranty is a real commitment rather than a hopeful one.
Every curve has to be accounted for.
Deep compound curves through the rear quarters, a large tailgate, and a roofline that runs into glass. Each of those wants the film worked rather than pulled, which is why a Model Y is not a one-day car.

Tesla wraps
From $7,000 for a full color change. Protection Wrap Film — paint protection film that comes in color, roughly twice the thickness — starts at $11,000 and does both jobs at once.
Existing vinyl wrap removal — $3,500
Already have a wrap on your Tesla? We can remove it before your new installation.
- Northern Virginia: $3,500 flat removal fee.
- Outside Northern Virginia: the $3,500 removal fee plus travel, quoted for your location and agreed before travel is confirmed.
Removing an existing wrap is a separate fee from the wrap itself. It is not included in the $7,000 color-change vinyl, $11,000 3M™ Protection Wrap Film or $15,000 Avery Dennison® Conform Chrome projects.
It does not cover every situation. Unusually difficult removal, excessive adhesive, multiple layers, severely deteriorated film or other abnormal conditions are reviewed and priced before work proceeds — we tell you, we do not surprise you.
We come to you
This is a requirement of mobile installation, not of working with us. Installing at your address needs a single-family detached home you own, with a private enclosed garage held in the film’s working range, around 70°F — so condos, townhouses and apartments do not qualify for the mobile route. If that is you, the other two routes are open: drive the car to our Ashburn studio, or ask us to quote travel to a facility in your market.

Why is the Model Y the one you wrap most?
It is the most common Tesla on the road here, and it is the one people most often want to look different from every other one in the parking lot. That repetition is the point: we have made the mistakes this shape invites on our own time rather than on your car.
Should I get vinyl or paint protection film?
If you want it to look different, color-change vinyl. If you want it to look different AND resist stone chips, Protection Wrap Film — it is paint protection film that comes in color, about twice the thickness, and it costs accordingly. Thicker is not automatically better; it matters when you want protection, not just color.
Will the film lift on the rear quarters?
Not if it is post-heated properly, which is exactly why we do it. Film stretched into a curve wants to pull back, and heat past its forming temperature is what resets it. Our installation warranty runs 12 months and covers lifting, seam separation and peeling caused by the install.
Can you wrap the roof only?
No. We do full-vehicle color changes only — no roof-only, hood-only or accent work, on their own or as an add-on. A partial is a different job with its own edges and its own way of going wrong at the boundary, and we would rather do one thing properly. If a roof is all you want, a good local shop is the right call.
