Before drop-off

The drop-off form.Fill it in before the car arrives.

This is the document you sign at the car. Filling it in here saves the time at the curb and lets you read every term at your own pace. When you are done, send it to us from this page, or download it and text or email it to (571) 676-6578. We sign our line at the car, and you sign the pickup line when the work is accepted.

Version 2026.10.22. Nothing on this page charges you or reserves a date — the deposit does that, on Start your wrap.

Terms & conditions — initial each section

A. Condition & damage

  1. As-is condition. Before signing, the client walked the vehicle outside, texted their own photos to TeslaWrapper and noted all existing defects on the front. Damage claimed later is treated as pre-existing unless noted at pickup and shown by photos and video to have happened in TeslaWrapper’s care; damage first reported after the vehicle leaves is not covered.
  2. Paint and wrap removal. TeslaWrapper cuts film on the panels with 3M Knifeless Tape and tucks the edges, so no blade touches the paint, and to the fullest extent permitted by law is not responsible for any paint damage during install or removal. Removing an existing wrap costs $650.
  3. Customer parts and pre-wash. Customer parts are installed at the client’s risk. TeslaWrapper arranges the pre-wash with a third-party mobile detailer but is not responsible for the detailer’s work.
  4. Clips, trim and badges. Door handles and other parts are normally not removed; if TeslaWrapper removes any, including fender cameras, the client is told first. Cameras recalibrate once the car is driven. Factory clips can break; they are replaced at cost, not as damage. Hood and rear badges are replaced new or reinstalled as chosen; TeslaWrapper is not responsible if they break or lose adhesion.
  5. Final inspection and pickup. The client and TeslaWrapper inspect the vehicle together outside in sunlight; any visible issue not noted before signing the pickup line is not covered, apart from the warranty. The balance is paid before the vehicle is driven away; a client who leaves without paying owes it plus term 9 costs. Once picked up, the vehicle and work are accepted as-is, apart from the warranty.

B. Liability & conduct

  1. Liability. TeslaWrapper is a service business that customizes vehicles. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the client releases TeslaWrapper, its owner, staff and installers from all liability for damage or loss to the vehicle or its contents, except liability the law does not allow to be waived, such as gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  2. Limit of liability. Any liability is limited to the amount the client paid for the service.
  3. Aftermarket parts & yoke (only if installed). Aftermarket parts may affect Tesla’s warranty. An aftermarket yoke is not made or approved by Tesla and requires moving the airbag. The client accepts all risks, including airbag performance and warning lights, and releases TeslaWrapper from liability for the yoke to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  4. Disputes and legal fees. The client agrees to resolve any issue with TeslaWrapper peacefully and in good faith. Before any legal action, the client gives written notice within 30 days of pickup, allows a free inspection and fix, then tries mediation. If the client brings a claim and TeslaWrapper prevails, or TeslaWrapper must collect unpaid amounts, the client pays TeslaWrapper’s reasonable attorney fees, court costs and documented costs, including shop time.
  5. Conduct. Threats, harassment or abuse, including repeated demands for discounts or free work, are not tolerated; TeslaWrapper may stop work and contact police; completed work stays payable.

C. Schedule & pickup

  1. Timeline. Completion dates are estimates, not guarantees.
  2. Pickup deadline. Pick up within 1 day of notice; no storage fee. A vehicle left 30 days is abandoned, subject to Virginia lien rights.

D. Payment & refunds

  1. Deposit. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit, required under all options, secures the appointment. If the client’s Tesla delivery date changes, the install date can move, but the client must tell TeslaWrapper as soon as possible and at least 48 hours before install day. Otherwise the appointment is canceled, nothing is refunded, and TeslaWrapper keeps the deposit and any ordered material.
  2. Payment. Per Option A or C on the front. Cards via Square; Zelle or cash also accepted, a Zelle payment counting once receipt is confirmed.
  3. Price is final. No discounts, credits or free work after completion.
  4. No refunds or chargebacks. Once service begins, nothing is refunded for any reason. The client will not dispute or charge back any payment; a chargeback is a breach, and the client owes the amount plus term 9 costs.
  5. Materials. Each wrap gets one 75-foot roll (a Model 3 or Y uses 45–55 feet; a Cybertruck gets a few extra feet, not two rolls). Film comes from authorized distributor Grimco; receipt on request. Leftover film is kept for the client’s vehicle only and used for any fixes until the warranty ends. If major rework is needed due to the installer’s fault, TeslaWrapper orders at most 9 extra feet; no other film is ordered, and leftover film is not given to the client.
  6. Change orders. Added work is priced and signed in writing first.

E. Quality & warranty

  1. Color approval. Color and finish are approved from a sample and can’t be changed for any reason once the deposit is paid and film ordered; no redos for a change of mind.
  2. Best-effort work. A color change wrap is appearance only: a thin film (about 3.2–3.5 mil), not paint protection. Installs are done to the best of TeslaWrapper’s ability. No install at any shop is 100% perfect; seams, relief cuts and minor up-close imperfections are normal, not defects. Edges on every panel are tucked or cut short as chosen; cut-short edges can show original paint, or stainless on a Cybertruck. Door jambs only if chosen.
  3. Warranty. If chosen on the front, the warranty is limited to six months from pickup and covers workmanship against lifting, peeling and bubbling under normal use. Film naturally ages from driving, sun, heat and wear and tear; that, accidents, improper washing and neglect are not covered. If the issue is TeslaWrapper’s workmanship, the warranty covers one repair visit: the client reports all issues at once, they are fixed once using leftover film (term 17), and the warranty then ends. The film itself carries only 3M’s or Avery Dennison’s warranty, which is shorter on hoods and roofs and may not cover stainless steel (Cybertruck); film claims go directly to them.
  4. Photos and video. Every car is filmed for marketing; plates hidden.

F. Wrap care

  1. Care. No washing for 7 days; keep it dry for 48 hours. Hand wash only with pH-neutral soap; no automatic car washes. Keep pressure washers 12+ inches from film edges. No wax, polish, solvents or petroleum-based products. Remove bird droppings, sap and bugs within 24 hours; report lifting edges right away. Ignoring this care voids the warranty.

General. “TeslaWrapper” means TeslaWrapper LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. TeslaWrapper is not responsible for items left in the vehicle; staff may move it and run defrost to warm panels. Work is done at TeslaWrapper’s studio in Ashburn, Virginia, or at the client’s own garage as agreed in writing, with any travel fee agreed before booking; client garages need power and a temperature inside the film’s working range, and TeslaWrapper is not responsible for conditions there. TeslaWrapper does not carry insurance on the client’s vehicle while it is in TeslaWrapper’s care; the client’s own insurance is the coverage that applies. This form is the entire agreement; other promises count only if written in Notes and agreed by both. Virginia law governs; if any term is unenforceable, the rest still apply. A photo or a sent copy of this completed form counts as the original. Refer a friend: $300 first referral, $500 each after.
