Where we arelooking.

8 markets across 8 states are on this list. One of them is an actual location; the rest are places we are thinking about. A market appearing here means we are interested in it — it is not an open market, not a shop, not an offer, and not a territory.

If you want your own Tesla wrapped

We wrap Teslas at one studio in Ashburn, Virginia, and we travel to a small number of published markets for qualified projects. Whether we can come to your city is quoted for your project rather than promised on a page like this one.

For operators: the list

TeslaWrapper is one location: a single bay in Ashburn, Virginia, owner-operated. Every other city named on this site is either a market we travel to for a project or a market we are considering for the franchise program. None of them is a shop, none of them has a crew, and the number of pages on this site is not the number of places we are.

Not on the list? Apply anyway and tell us where you are — interest is the main thing that gets a market evaluated. Not evaluated yet. We are recording interest so we know where to look next.

50 States. One Standard.

The ambition is national coverage: a Tesla owner in any state dealing with the same brand, the same published prices, the same installation standard and the same documentation, rather than hunting for a shop and hoping.

The alternative it is contrasted with is the way this trade normally works: independently operated shops of wildly varying quality, where the price, the material and the finish depend entirely on which door a customer walked through and there is no way to tell in advance.

To be exact about what exists today: one operating studio, in Ashburn, Virginia, owner-operated. There are no TeslaWrapper locations in fifty states, none of the markets on our list is open, and “50 States” describes an intention rather than a footprint. If that changes, this sentence changes with it.

The map: every state we travel to, and the one state with a studio

Every state on this map is somewhere we will travel for an approved project. One of them — Virginia — is also where our studio is. Traveling somewhere is not the same as having a location there, and this map does not claim otherwise.

Shaded means we will travel there for an approved project — subject to scheduling and the installation environment. It does not mean a shop, a crew or a partner in that state.

Territory: what we intend, and what is not decided

Territory is a term of a franchise agreement. There is no franchise agreement, so there is no territory arrangement — nothing is available, nothing is reserved, and nothing can be purchased. What follows is what we intend, written down so it can be argued with, not a term anyone can rely on.

The intent is that an approved location has a defined market it is responsible for, that we do not approve a second location inside it while it is performing, and that inbound demand from that market is routed to it. That is a design intention about how a network should work, and it is not a promise of exclusivity.

What is not decided

  • How a territory is defined — intended: Some stated geography — radius, counties or postal codes — rather than a handshake.. Not decided.
  • Whether it is exclusive — intended: Protection while a location is meeting the standard and the market is being served.. Not decided.
  • How long it lasts — intended: Tied to the term of the agreement rather than granted indefinitely.. Not decided.
  • What happens when a market outgrows one location — intended: A path that is written down in advance instead of negotiated in a dispute.. Not decided.
  • Whether a second location can be earned — intended: Considered case by case, never automatic.. Not decided.
