Good installersknow good installers.
Tesla Wrapper is building a professional installation and project network across multiple U.S. markets.
One network. Multiple markets. One standard.
How we engage installers.
$900–$1,200 per vehicle, by film.
The rate follows the material, because the films are not equally difficult.
| 3M™ or Avery Dennison® color-change vinyl | $900 |
| 3M™ Protection Wrap Film | $1,050 |
| Avery Dennison® Conform Chrome | $1,200 |
Those figures are all-in. On a travel job they cover your gas and your hotel — those are not reimbursed separately on top.
The rate for a specific vehicle is confirmed with you before you start, never after.
The standard.
Perfect, to the best of your ability. That is the bar, and it is the reason the rate is what it is.
- Every edge tucked — no lifting, no shortcuts at a jamb because it is hard to reach
- Edges folded over so the original color cannot show through at any angle
- Seamless where the panel allows it, and deliberate where it does not
- Contours worked properly rather than stretched to fit
- Finished and post-heated where the material calls for it
The folded edge is the one we care about most, because it is the one most often rushed. If the color underneath shows at any angle, it is not finished.
Work is inspected in daylight before the vehicle goes back to the customer. If it does not pass, it does not leave — and that is on us as much as on you.
- Per vehicle, not hourly
- Set by the film, agreed before you start. A slow day on a hard car does not cost you the rate.
- All-in on travel
- Gas and hotel come out of that figure on a travel job. Nothing is reimbursed on top, so factor it in when you quote us.
- Contractor, not employee
- You invoice us and handle your own tax and insurance. We are not offering W-2 positions.
- We supply the material
- Film, knifeless tape and consumables are ours. You are never buying material for our job.
- We supply the tools
- The shop is equipped. Bring your own squeegee if you prefer one, but you are not required to.
No unpaid test wraps.
What we will not do is ask you to wrap a car unpaid to prove you can. If we want to see your work in person, that is a paid job like any other.
Being in the network does not guarantee work. It means we call you when a project fits what you do.
