Heated yoke steering wheel
A yoke-shaped replacement steering wheel with heating, in three finishes. It does not include an airbag: the airbag and the center trim cover from your existing wheel are the ones that end up on this one.
Fitment, with 1 of these 2 applications not settled.
- Model 3 — 2017–2023, per the manufacturer
- Model Y — 2020–2024, per the chosen variant Not settled.
What is unsettled is set out below. Nobody here has held one of these against a car.
Available by order, subject to fitment and supplier availability. Nothing here is held in stock.
This part sits on a safety system.
- It sits on the driver’s airbag — a pyrotechnic device in a federally mandated restraint system, which must be moved across from your existing wheel to this one.
- It sits on the steering wheel controls, their wiring and the sensors behind them.
We will not tell you it still works afterward. Nobody here has tested this part against those systems, a product description is not a test, and a page that promised otherwise would be guessing with something that is not ours to guess with.
What happens instead: this shop fits this part, and before it accepts the job it checks the part against your specific car and puts what it found in writing — so the decision is one you made rather than one you learn about afterward. Where the honest answer is that we would rather not take the job on your car, you get that answer instead of a quote.
This part is a permanent modification to your car.
Replacing the steering wheel and transferring the factory airbag onto it are required to fit it, per the manufacturer. It sits on the driver’s airbag and the steering wheel controls and their wiring.
Holes do not come back. Nothing permanent happens to your car until you have seen exactly where it goes and said yes to it in writing, and if you change your mind at that point you have lost nothing.

These are the manufacturer’s own photographs of the part, not photographs of work this shop has done. Several carry the maker’s sales copy burned into the image. We have not fitted one of these to a car and photographed it, and when we do, that photograph will say so.
- Model 3
- 2017–2023, per the manufacturerStated by the manufacturer. Not checked against a car here.
- Model Y
- 2020–2024, per the chosen variantFitment unresolved — see the open question below. Two different year ranges are given for this part — 2019–2024 and 2020–2024. The earlier year is not published here, because the narrower of two conflicting ranges is the only one that cannot be wrong in the direction that matters.
- Fitting
- Fitted by this shop. Who does the work is settled; what the part does to the system it sits on is not, and the section above is not softened by this one.
What has to be true of your car
- The airbag is not included. Your car’s existing airbag and center trim cover are the ones that end up on this wheel.
- Heating may only work where your car’s factory steering-wheel heating and its electrical configuration support it. Whether yours does is checked before anything is ordered.
- Your existing wheel’s configuration and connector have to match before this can be ordered.
- This is not work for a general installer. It goes to someone qualified to handle a restraint system.
What nobody has settled yet
Published rather than smoothed over. Each of these is resolved against your car before anything is ordered.
- Which of the three finishes is actually purchasable for which car has not been established. Not every finish is made for every fitment, so the finish is confirmed against the car before an order rather than chosen from a list here.
- A grip size of 14.7 inches is listed. How that is measured is unknown, so it is not published as a specification.
- No clean product photograph of this wheel exists in what was supplied — one 300-pixel thumbnail and two marketing banners.
- Highland and Juniper fitment are not advertised for this part and we do not claim either.
There is no price on this page. The installer has not given us labor rates for accessory work, so any figure here would be half a number — and a part price without fitting beside it reads as the installed price. Ask and you get the whole thing or nothing.
Available by order, subject to fitment and supplier availability. Nothing here is held in stock.
