Front bumper lip kit

A three-piece lower lip for the front bumper — one center section and two corner pieces — in two finishes. It changes the look of the front of the car; nobody has measured it doing anything else.

This part is a permanent modification to your car.

Drilling and Self-tapping screws are required to fit it, per the manufacturer.

Holes do not come back. Nothing permanent happens to your car until you have seen exactly where it goes and said yes to it in writing, and if you change your mind at that point you have lost nothing.

These are the manufacturer’s own photographs of the part, not photographs of work this shop has done. Several carry the maker’s sales copy burned into the image. We have not fitted one of these to a car and photographed it, and when we do, that photograph will say so.

What has to be true of your car

  • The Model 3 kit and the Model Y kit are different parts. The maker warns that the wrong one does not fit, so the car has to be settled before the order and not after.
  • Fitting instructions are not supplied with the part, and the maker recommends professional installation.

What nobody has settled yet

Published rather than smoothed over. Each of these is resolved against your car before anything is ordered.

  • Every supplied photograph that shows a car shows a Model Y. None shows this kit on a Model 3.
  • The gallery may be incomplete: the photographs that reached us could not be matched against the set they came from, and the rest have not been chased down.
  • Highland and Juniper fitment are not advertised for this part and we do not claim either.

There is no price on this page. The installer has not given us labor rates for accessory work, so any figure here would be half a number — and a part price without fitting beside it reads as the installed price. Ask and you get the whole thing or nothing.
